Many of the people who join politics will be having an intention of making money. It is rare in this generation where we can find a person who serves their country. If we get a good person who has a good intention of developing the country, then the opposition will not leave him, the opposition will try to set a false narrative on him that he is involved in corruption so that their image gets damaged.
Let's know the difference between anti-national and corruption.
We can excuse corrupted politicians to some extent, but we cannot forgive the politician who goes against the country.
Suppose if a politician is involved in a scam and earns crores of rupees, and after a few days he invests the corrupted money in some businesses like building hospitals, schools, helping the poor, etc., We can excuse that politician to some extinct because he built schools or hospitals which will be an asset for the country and because of that many people will get treatment and many students get an education, but if the same politician repeatedly gets involved in different scams we as a public shouldn't excuse that politician. Even doing corruption once is a sin, but it is a human tendency whenever we see money, mindset changes suddenly.
Corruption is comparable to indulging in anti-national activity.
Suppose if the politician spends the money earned through scams on some other countries by investing in other country businesses or giving it to the terrorists to harm his nation, then that politician is called an anti-national.
If a politician joins forces with politicians of other countries to defeat his own country's ruling party, he is also labeled anti-national.
